Bangkok’s popular Michelin Bib Gourmand-awarded Charmkrung is landing in Hong Kong for the very first time for a one-night pop-up at Always Joy.
The Yardbird sister restaurant will be welcoming the Thai wine bar on Nov. 25 6PM to serve a menu featuring the Bangkok restaurant’s most popular hits, including the grilled catfish, tamarind river prawn, and Northern style smoked beef, alongside dishes inspired by their trip to the local Sheung Wan market.
The dinner, hosted by chef Jai Aruss Lerlerstkul and sommelier Kiki Sontiyart, is the second in the Always Friends series, inviting global restaurants to host dinners at Always Joy.
“If you know me, I’ve probably told you that Charmkrung is my favorite restaurant in the world right now. I can’t wait to see them work their magic in Always Joy,” Always Joy co-founder Lindsay Jang said in a press release.
Reservations are required for the pop-up dinner.
