As is custom for the MICHELIN Guide, every second Wednesday of every other month sees new additions from Hong Kong (and Macau). Dropping on Nov. 14, the new drop saw seven restaurants added to the guide from Hong Kong.

La Volta, the trendy and viral Italian spot opening in August 2025, joins the Guide three months after opening, lauded for its “rotating menu [that] features both fresh and dried pasta alongside seasonal produce.”

Led by an “expert cheesemaker […] that combine[s] French artisan cheeses with Japanese culinary art,” ROUCOU is a new Guide addition that has impressed Hong Kong with its cheese omakase concept.

Opening in June 2025, modern Thai restaurant Siaw in Tsim Sha Tsui earns its first Michelin acclaim as the Guide points to its pad kra pao and kha nom krok (crispy coconut rice flour pancakes) for the best flavours.

Previously joining the MICHELIN Guide before closing temporarily due to the 1880 Hong Kong shutdown, Té Bo earned back its place on the Guide this November. “A perfect spot for sophisticated food in an unpretentious space,” states the Guide entry.

Cantonese restaurant Dragons’ Den, which explores age-old recipes of Hong Kong and Guangdong, joins the Guide this year. Their baked egg omelette with fish tripe and squab come highly recommended.

The former three Michelin-starred L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon joins the MICHELIN Guide again as a Michelin Recommended restaurant after reopening this summer. It is expected for the restaurant to regain stars in 2026’s Guide ceremony.

And finally, Whey chef Barry Quek’s new casual eatery Uncle Quek becomes the seventh restaurant to join the Guide this month. Both their lobster laksa and cereal-crusted fried chicken were recommended by the Guide.
