After three and a half years operating its flagship store in Soho, Cookie DPT is closing its doors on Nov. 9.

In a press release shared yesterday (Nov. 3), co-founder Wil Fang points to the “ongoing challenges with rising operational costs and lease pressures” that went into the decision to close the café at the end of day on Sunday (Nov. 9).

The café has grown a loyal following for its outlandish pastry creations, including a mega-sized croissant and egg tart, and viral cookies and brunch items.

“We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who’s supported us – from our early cookie drops to our Central café regulars. This community has been the heartbeat of everything we do. This may be the end of one chapter, but our story isn’t over – we’re going to keep pushing forward,” Wil states.

Cookie DPT will continue its strong online presence with next-day delivery, events, and corporate catering.

Cookie DPT’s sweet and savoury treats will be also available at a pop-up hosted at this year’s AIA Carnival at the Central Harbourfront Event Space.
